That Friend

Doesn't everybody have that one friend, that no matter what they say, u feel like a retard just said it? Well, shit I do lol.

So today she asked me if I know what dance music is, like come on who doesn't know what dance music is?! (Well I don't lol, not really). So here's how the convo went down:

Me: Not really.
Her: You serious? (I just knew that she felt like she was the shit cuz she knew something I didn't)
Me: I can only think of techno sounding 80's music when I think of dance music. (Like serious, who the fuck cares?!)
Her: lol. 80s music is 80s music, thats just what they played then and techno's techno music, no words just a beat. (Like duh!) Dance music has words, its pretty much music u can dance to (really? I didn't know that)

So anyway she proceeded to name a bunch of dance music artists and songs and I'm like well damn I dont really pay attention to music like that, if its good and has a good beat imma dance. Then eventually it lead to me and my boyfriend and some how turned into us not dancing at all. Like wtf?!

But anyway I just don't get it. Idk how you can be friends with someone then one just realize that hey maybe they aren't that bright. Cuz shit having to repeat urself over and over is a drag. Having to hear stupidness is a drag, but hey she's that friend so u put up with it cuz u hope one day she won't be so aarrrgg!!

Baby daddy

So just now I seen not one but TWO men with strollers. The reason I'm blogging about this is because they were both black men. They weren't older men, maybe early to late 20's. So it was surprising. Isn't that some sad shit. But I'm guessing things are change. All those boys with no fathers out there decided to be real fathers to their kids. So I'm glad I saw that shit. Cuz usually I'll see a mother with a kid and a stroller all by herself.
